Mark T. Goggin, MD is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics who has been a member of the Medical Associates since 1998. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and also attended Georgetown University. He completed Medical School at the Wright State University School of Medicine, where he completed his residency. He is a Fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Ohio State Medical Association.
Douglas A. Rush, MD has been at Medical Associates since 2002, where he specializes in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and then went to Medical School at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, in addition to being a Fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Ohio State Medical Association.
Patrick D. Goggin, MD, FACP is a lifelong resident of Cambridge and is married to Karen (Grimm) Goggin. Patrick and Karen have four children ages 7-14 and are members of St. Benedict Church, Christ our Light Parish. Patrick is a doctor of Internal Medicine and joined Medical Associates of Cambridge in 2002. He graduated from Cambridge High School, earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and then went to Medical School at the University of Cincinnati, where he also completed his residency at the University Hospital.
He is a Board Certified Member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He volunteers as the Medical Director for Open Arms Pregnancy Center. His primary medical interest is using medical information technology and population health to advance primary care.
Kayode Ojedele, MD has been a member of Medical Associates specializing in Internal Medicine since 2006. He attended The University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo-State Nigeria for his undergraduate degree, thereafter obtaining his Medical School degree from the same institution. He worked in several places during his residency, including the Metrohealth Medical Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, the Rano General Hospital in Kano State, Nigeria and The Royal College of Surgeons of England in the United Kingdom. In addition, he is a Fellow with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Stephen Durant, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine, focusing on primary care for adults 18 years and older. A native of Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Durant achieved both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees at Michigan State University. While on active duty in the United States Air Force for seven years, he completed his residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and completed his service in Arizona at Luke Air Force Base. He then specialized in hospital medicine in Arizona with Banner Health for an additional 3 years. Dr. Durant has been happily married for 25 years to his wife, Carrie, and they have two children, Michael and Natalie. He has a special interest in involving the patient's unique perspective in the practice of medicine and he welcomes the opportunity to bring that perspective out with each of his patients. Dr. Durant is very happy to join Medical Associates and to serve the people of Southeastern Ohio.
Rebecca Brauch, MD (pronounced "Brock"), is a doctor of Internal Medicine who is a new addition to Medical Associates. She earned her undergraduate Biology degree at the University of Kentucky and completed medical school at the University of Louisville. She proceeded with residency training at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Infectious Disease fellowship training at the University of Florida. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Her professional interests include mental health and HIV and she enjoys running, oil painting, and playing guitar in her personal time.
Dr. Schubert received her Bachelor of Science in Combined Sciences degree from Youngstown State University and earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1992. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Western Reserve Care System (Northside, Tod Children’s and Southside Hospitals) in Youngstown and was co-chief resident in pediatrics.
Dr. Schubert has been a physician in Cambridge since 1997 and chose to join Medical Associates in July 2017. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Schubert serves as the medical director for Hospice of Guernsey and is the current elected Coroner for Guernsey County. She is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association and the Ohio State Coroners Association.
Dr. Schubert and her husband, Steve, have three children Jacob, Joshua, and Elizabeth.

Tammy Anderson, RN, MSN, CFNP is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Tammy earned her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Otterbein College. Professional memberships include American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, (OAANP), and American Nurses Association (ANA).
Tammy is an experienced nurse practitioner who has provided primary health care services for patients of all ages in family practice and urgent care settings since 2000. Tammy is committed to providing high quality personalized medical care that enables patients to achieve and maintain the best health possible throughout their lifespan.
Zachary Rich, PA-C Is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. He was born in Cambridge and raised near Senecaville, Ohio where he attended Shenandoah Elementary and High Schools. Upon graduation he earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology at Ohio State University and became an avid fan of the Buckeyes. Upon graduation he attended Marietta College to obtain his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies where he gained clinical experience in a vast array of medical fields including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Cardiology, and Family/Internal Medicine.
He completed much of his clinical training right here at Medical Associates and became a full-time member of our team in October, 2011. He feels fortunate to work near his hometown and looks forward to providing quality healthcare to patients of all ages.
Brittany Burks, PA-C is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. She attended Caldwell High School and after graduation went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biology and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marietta College. Brittany did most of her clinical training including General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics in Cambridge and completed her Internal Medicine, Pediatric, and Family Medicine training here at Medical Associates. She also has training in Dermatology, OB/GYN, and Psychology. It has been a lifelong goal of hers to work in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and she is happy to have joined the team of Medical Associates.
Renee Schwieterman, PA-C is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. She was born in Cambridge and attended Shenandoah High School. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. Upon graduation she attended Marietta College obtaining her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Renee completed a majority of her clinical training in Cambridge including Family Medicine at Medical Associates, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. She also trained in Cardiology, Pediatrics, Surgical Oncology, Psychology, and Orthopedics. She is grateful for the opportunity to join Medical Associates in helping provide healthcare to her hometown.
